High Park North ($650k ++)

The age of the homes in this pocket of the west end ranges from the late 1800’s to the 1920’s, 30’s. This area does boast some grand and exceptional homes namely on streets like High Park Avenue. The condo stock has been on the increase in the last 5-10 years with notable places like 20 Gothic Avenue that looms directly above a portion of the High Park subway as well as 70 High Park Avenue, High Park Condominiums. Many decent rental buildings abound to appease many young professionals that want condo living in a not-so bustling downtown area but still close enough to whatever is hot downtown. The main hub-bub of this portion of the west-end is Bloor West Village as well as The Junction.
Big surprise, but High Park is the main attraction in this area. With 399 acres of all that is green and amazing, no city neighbourhood can compete with this one or any other area that surrounds the park, namely Roncesvalles Village to the east, Swansea to the west and Bloor West Village to the north.
The main subway station here is High Park and Keele. If you really want to stretch it, you can add Runnymede subway on the far western edge of this neighbourhood.
